Although the iPhone captures photographs in the HEIC format, you may force it to capture images in JPG by changing the settings in the Settings app. This would only apply to future photographs; images that have already been recorded and saved in HEIC would be unaffected.
1: Start by going to your iPhone’s Settings app and scrolling down to Camera.
2: Select Most Compatible from the Formats menu. That is all there is to it. All images taken with your iPhone will now be saved in JPG format.

Use a Siri Shortcut
Siri Shortcuts are a terrific method to expand your iPhone’s capabilities without having to install new apps. If you have a bunch of HEIC photographs on your iPhone, this Siri shortcut is the quickest way to convert them to JPG. You may save the JPGs to the Photos app, send them via iMessage, or just AirDrop them to your Mac.
1: Begin by downloading and installing the Siri Shortcut. RoutineHub allows you to share several photos as JPG files. When the shortcut has been installed, run it.

Convert HEIC to JPG on Web Browser
Installing an app is fine, but if your computer doesn’t allow you to install new apps or you don’t want to merely for the sake of converting a few photographs, you can convert images online. To use it, all you need is a web browser and an internet connection. With a web app, you may access and convert HEIC photographs to JPG on a Mac, Windows, Chromebook, or any other device.
